The Wiimote and the PC: 1st phase
The Wii remote uses Bluetooth to communicate wirelessly with the Wii.
Using a Bluetooth USB key plugged into your PC, you can synchronize your PC and the Wiimote. Course no driver exists at present to use the functions of the Wiimote on PC (pointer, gyroscope, accelerometer).
But it should arrive soon ...
The method for making the connection is Appu 'A + B + 1 + 2 ". Four LEDs will flash. The Wiimote can be seen by the PC from there. Once detected, the same key combination must be used to link the two devices. LEDs continue to flash during the connection. The Wiimote is then seen as a game controller (HID) through the PC but no buttons or axis.
should know that the Wiimote which is integrated into Pack Wii is synchronized with the Wii, but if you want to add another Wiimote, it will also make this manip '.
The Wii costs only 39 €, while some mice with fewer features cost over 150 €! Hence the interest in developing a driver for the Wiimote. addition you can connect a "Nunchuk" (sold 19 €) to have other functions (analog stick, 2 extra buttons, 3 accelerometers and 3 gyroscopes).
The next step in order to make compatible the Wiimote and a PC (Windows in this case), will analyze the frames exchanged between the Wiimote and USB Bluetooth to understand the protocol and to detect events.
